20 Organisations were chosen by the Rand Water Foundation to receive tailor-made training to help improve and grow their amazing organisations.
In order for Lusa to know what their training needs might be, Lusa Community Chest has been asked to complete a comprehensive assessment on the organisations.
The National Proficiency index is an auditing system for non-profit organisations. It is a self-assessment tool that enables comparative national rating of operational performance. It is hoped that this standardised system will find its use as a diagnostic tool for identifying developmental and institution-building needs for non-profit organisations. This innovative assessment tool was conceptualised by Lusa Community Chest and is being rolled out nationally.
With donors being more selective this index will assist NPOs in meeting both the sponsorship as well as legal compliance requirements.
